Speakers from the Residential Landlords Association will take centre stage at a national conference and awards ceremony celebrating the success of the London Landlord Accreditation Scheme.

The UK Landlord Accreditation Partnership’s (UKLAP) flagship conference “Your Investment & the Law” is returning for its third year, bringing together more than 500 landlords, agents, housing professionals and VIP guests.

RLA consultant and UKLAP Chair David Princep will open the conference, with the association’s policy director David Smith, partner at Anthony Gold solicitors and a specialist in Landlord and Tenant law, speaking about legislative changes to the Private Rented Sector. Awards will be presented to landlords and agents who have helped provide and improve some of the capital’s vital private sector housing stock.

Mr Princep said: “The Private Rented Sector is in a period of radical change with a plethora of changes in all areas from landlord-tenancy issues to property standards and finances.

“This conference is an opportunity to hear from the leading experts in all these fields on the changes and how they will affect the private rented sector generally.  The conference also provides an excellent networking arena with colleagues from all areas within the PRS.”

The event, sponsored by the RLA, will be held at the Grand Connaught Rooms in Central London on March 18, 2016.
