#AskPickles is a twitter campaign to make sure that Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government is asked the questions that matter most to the people.

Always wanted to ask Eric Pickles a question? Here’s your chance!

The RLA wants to urge its members to take to social media (Twitter specifically) and use the ‘hashtag’ #AskPickles to make sure that they see it.

The forum is considering any questions with the hashtag from Thursday 28th of November until 11:00 pm on Wednesday 4th December.

The best questions will be used during an oral evidence session to be held on 9th of December, where MPs will ask Mr Pickles about the performance of the department before moving onto question taken from Twitter.

This provides a great chance for RLA members to have their voice and concerns acknowledged by Central Government and Mr Pickles himself.

In a Parliament press release on the Government website, Clive Betts MP, Chair of the Committee asking the questions has said: “We want to ask the Secretary of State about the concerns of those involved…Don’t hold back. Tweet us one question you would like to ask Eric Pickles.

And remember the hashtag #AskPickles”.
