BBC Wales presenter to host Future Renting Wales conference

BBC Wales broadcaster Lucy Owen has been confirmed as the host for the RLA’s Future Renting Wales conference taking place next month in Cardiff.

Lucy, a broadcaster with over 20 years industry experience, presents BBC Wales’ flagship news programme Wales Today. As well as this, she also present popular consumer programme ‘X-Ray’ as well as her own programme on BBC Wales.

Joining Lucy will be Anne Rowland, who will be discussing Rent Smart Wales, and Leah Whitty of Cardiff Council, who will be discussing tax, welfare and energy efficiency.

There will also be an update on the Agent Fee Ban debate delivered by RLA Wales Director Douglas Haig, and an update on the Renting Home Act from RLA Policy Director David Smith.
