The RLA want members and the wider audience to be aware of a free landlord event for private landlords in the Chelmsford City Council area on damp and cold for this coming winter season. Save the date: Tuesday 3rd December at the Civic Centre on Duke Street

The Chelmsford City Council is part of the Local Authorities (LA) Network and is looking to promote a FREE event for landlords on typical battles that landlords will have to deal with during the colder season in terms of damp, cold and the threats they pose to tenant health.

The program flyer provides a breakdown of the event, there will be a series of presentations covering:

  • Health risks associated with cold, damp and mould’ Middle Essex Clinical Commissioning Group
  • Assessing cold and damp: Suitable solutions and prevention randing from tenant advice to landlord improvements; Climate Energy
  • Making solutions count across Chelmsford; Chelmsford City Council

The event takes place on Tuesday 3rd December at the Civic Centre on Duke street from 9:30am until 12:00pm

Landlords, medical professionals, volunteer groups and home improvement agencies will all be in attendance to give the sector a full representation.

The Local Authority (LA) Network is an initiative part of the wider services that the RLA provide to landlords throughout the country. It brings regional councils and private landlords closer together to create an arena so that they can engage with one another.
