Vice-Chairman and Director for Wales of the Residential Landlords Association (RLA) spoke at Cardiff’s first Landlord & Letting Show hosted at Cardiff City Hall.

Speaking to delegates at today’s Landlord & Letting Show in Cardiff, Douglas Haig discussed the implications of the Housing (Wales) Bill, Renting Homes Bill and other welsh housing matters.

Douglas urged landlords to stay abreast of changes to welsh housing policy in order to avoid potential prosecution and hefty fines once the bill is implemented in 2015.

Emphasising the importance of educating landlords, agents and tenants of the upcoming tenure reform, Douglas finished his presentation by calling on all landlords to get involved with RLA Cymru campaign work.

Douglas Haig will be presenting again tomorrow at 4:15pm at the Cardiff Landlord & Letting Show, Cardiff City Hall. To register for free tickets, click here.
