The RLA wants to make members and landlords in the West Midlands aware that on Wednesday 30th of October, a FREE private landlord conference will be held at Walsall Football stadium.

The event is being run by the West Midlands Housing group, specifically under the West Midlands Buy Under Best Use of Stock (WMBUS) partnership. The conference is open to all private landlords in the West Midlands region – Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, and Wolverhampton – and provides a good opportunity to discuss pressures within the sector.

The RLA will be in attendance, with a stand for anyone interested in talking to representatives about our products and services. Additionally, RLA trainer Dave Princep will be delivering a seminar.

Public services, such as police and fire services will be at the conference and there will be stalls for groups such as UK Border Agency; Gas Safe; relevant local authorities; water boards and a rent valuation team.

Workshop topics such as welfare reform; safety and security in HMO’s; empty properties; landlord accreditation, and many other subjects will be discussed in the various workshops/seminars on offer.

For more information, please contact organisers on telephone number: 0121 569 5103. Alternatively, you can send them an email on: psh.housing@dudley.gov.uk

The RLA is keen to engage with members at all times, and see events as ideal venues for talking to members – or perspective members – one on one. Take advantage of this opportunity and make sure you save the date!
