Private landlords are facing an ever increasing list of legal requirements that they need to comply with and in addition recent tax changes mean that for many landlords their profits will be reduced. The RLA is proud to announce that is attending the Landlord Expo 2017, so come and visit us at Stand 8!
Landlord Expo, the biggest event of its kind in the South West takes place in Bristol on Thursday 25 May from noon till 7.00 pm.
The event is sponsored by Less Tax 4 Landlords and features over 90 exhibitors ranging from financial experts, letting agents, trades people and suppliers. Everything for a landlord under one roof.
The RLA’s director and trainer, Carrie Kus, will be holding two seminars entitled ‘Safety First: How to Protect Your Tenants’. These seminars take place at 2:30pm in the Less Tax 4 Landlords Room and at 5:00pm in the Deposit Protection Service Room. Carrie will take this time to talk you through the raft of health and safety legislation landlords must abide by and how landlords can go the extra miles to make sure their properties are safe as can be. The event, which is being held in Exhibition and Conference Centre at the University of the West of England, is aimed at anyone who is already a landlord or letting agent, or who is considering entering the private rental market. Directions to the Centre can be found here.
The event is organised by South Gloucestershire, Bristol, North Somerset, and Bath & North East Somerset Councils.
