Come and visit the private rental sector’s leading trade event, the Landlord & Letting Show at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry on Wednesday 27th & Thursday 28th November 2014.

The show gives landlords, letting agents and all associated property professionals access to the best advice, information, products and service deals in the industry.

An Introduction to Universal Credit

With the national roll-out of Universal Credit this year, interest in the changes to Local Housing Allowance has been higher than ever on the PRS landlord’s agenda. Bill Irvine talks about new scheme, the DWP’s intention of making payments direct to tenants and will advise landlords on how they can mitigate any potential rental losses arising from Universal Credit and the intended change in payment regime.

The BTL mortgage market and how to source the most suitable product for you

Doug Hall, director of 3mc and RLA mortgages, will give an up-to-date picture on the current UK buy-to-let mortgage market, as well as providing advice on how to source the most suitable product for you, taking into account all criteria applied by different lenders.

Inheritance Tax: Implications affecting landlords

Janice Parker from RITA4Rent Limited will provide a detailed seminar on Inheritance Tax and the issues and implications facing landlords, with an overview on planning strategies.

The Landlord & Letting Awards  will also be taking place on the Wednesday evening at Stoneleigh park and is to be hosted by the nations favourite builder and one third of the BBC’s Ground Force team, Tommy Walsh.

The awards are to be judged by a panel of industry’s experts, including the RLA’s Chairman, Alan Ward. Categories include Britain’s Best Landlord, Best website, Best Customer Service and an array of other awards spread over 8 categories.
