Landlords invited to energy efficiency workshops

Landlords are being invited to attend energy efficiency workshops that are being run by the Department for Business, Energy, Industry and Strategy (BEIS) this summer.

The workshops will be held ahead of a formal consultation, and they are taking place in the following locations.

Currently private rented homes are required to meet a standard of E in their Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).

The government is suggesting an increase to an EPC Band C by 2030, ‘where practical, cost-effective and affordable’. This is an opportunity for landlords to shape the policy design, at the very start of the process.

To sign up to the workshops, click on the links to the event brite pages above to register.

Give us a bit of notice to manage our time . thank you

    • Hi there, thanks for your comment. We do try to give members as much notice as possible with events and workshops like this as you say, so members can plan their time. We did include a mention of these energy efficiency workshops in the members newsletter dated the 6th June and then another reminder in the newsletter dated 20th June. Many thanks, RLA
