The Department for Work and Pensions has published a newsletter for landlords with tenants in receipt of Universal Credit.

The newsletter, which can be read online here, includes recent announcements on Universal Credit, and the latest statistics as well as guidance for landlords on calculating rent and alternative payment arrangements.

In July, a pilot of ‘managed migration’ is due to begin in the Yorkshire town of Harrogate.

Learn more about Universal Credit

The RLA run courses for landlords where they can find the very latest information about Universal Credit. Delivered by LHA and Universal Credit expert Bill Irvine, the courses are also a good opportunity for landlords to ask questions. The course is being held in Leeds this September, and Manchester and Birmingham in November. Learn more and book your place here.
