Written by Victoria Barker

Our course of the month this November is our eLearning foundation fire safety course.

Fire safety legislation is complex, because different buildings and property types are subject to different laws and regulations. It is easy to see why some landlords and letting agents could be left confused as to what fire safety precautions they must take.

Our Foundation Fire Safety course is designed to give you a clear understanding of your obligations when it comes to fire safety.

Perfect for landlords who let out both single dwellings and HMO properties, this course will give you an overview of the different legislation relating to fire safety including Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) order 2005, HMO Manager regulations and Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm (England) regulations 2015.

You will also learn how to conduct fire risk assessments, and practical tips on fire safety, giving reference to the LACORS fire safety guide.

As our eLearning Foundation Fire Safety course is the Course of the Month this November, we are offering 10% off this course. RLA members can sign up for £14.40, and non-members for £18.

CPD points

Remember that Continuous Professional Development points (CPD) apply to RLA courses.
