Politically-minded landlords still wanted!

Help the RLA canvass the All-Party Parliamentary Group for the Private Rented Sector

The RLA has received a great response to its request for politically-minded landlords to get involved in the work of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for the Private Rented Sector. The request, in the August edition of RLA News, saw many landlords get in touch to offer their support.

However, we still require more landlords to get involved.

The RLA guided the establishment of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for the Private Rented Sector in 2011, and now provides its secretariat.

As its names suggest, the APPG is a group of 63 cross-party politicians from both the Houses of Commons and Lords. It meets throughout the year to discuss the very latest issues affecting the private rented sector, as well as listening to key industry experts.

It is the industry’s voice right in the heart of British Government.

The RLA is keen for members to get involved in the work of the APPG, and would like to hear from members who would like to raise awareness of sector issues with the APPG and their local MPs.

Even if you are not politically-minded, a keen passion for the PRS and the issues affecting the work of landlords is all that is required.

If you are interested in getting involved in the work of the APPG please emailcampaigns@rla.org.uk.
