The RLA aims to make the lives of landlords easier every way possible. Training plays a crucial role in ensuring landlords hone their skills and master the trade. The basic obligations of landlords can be daunting to those new to the sector while changing regulation and expectation can confuse even the most experienced landlord, making training a crucial consideration no matter how long you have been in the private rented sector (PRS). The RLA is here to help.

RLA training courses range from foundation courses such as ‘the principles of lettings’ and ‘marketing your lettings’, to more specific and complex courses such as mitigating the risk of Legionella in your properties.

All RLA training courses can contribute to your Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and plays a key role in ensuring that you are up-to-date in your responsibilities. Find out more on the RLA training course webpage.

Dates and descriptions are available for the following courses:

There is also the Lettings for Landlords Online Course, available whenever is most convenient for you!

If there is a course on the training page that doesn’t have dates, register your interest and check back. Many training courses become available after increased interest and we are constantly creating new courses to supply demand on new obligations (see for example “Immigration and Right to Rent”).
