Selective licensing renewal consultation in Salford

Salford City Council has launched a consultation on its plans to renew and extend its selective licensing area, which covers Langworthy and Weaste & Seedley.

Salford was one of the first local authorities in the country to introduce selective licensing when its scheme was introduced in 2007. However, the scheme lapsed on the 25th May, and Salford is now applying for a renewal and an extension of the original scheme.

The RLA is currently working on its response, and will be contacting local members shortly to provide them with information and details about how they can get involved.

The consultation period ends on Friday 3rd August 2012.
