The RLA was out in force at this week’s Labour Party Conference, meeting key politicians and hosting two events.

On Monday, the Association joined it’s fellow five core partners of Homes for Britain, for a reception celebrating the British housing industry. The following day, the Association hosted it’s own fringe event to discuss how the private rented sector can help to house families in the coming years.

In addition to the two events, the Association met with key decision makers, including: Jack Dromey MP, shadow housing minister; Rt Hon Stephen Timms MP, shadow works and pensions minister; Rt Hon David Lammy MP; and Sir Robin Wales, Mayor of Newham.

A full report of the RLA’s activities during conference season will follow next week after the Conservative Party Conference; but, for now, please watch the video of the RLA’s fringe event and Jack Dromey’s views on the state of the private rented sector.
