The Welsh Government has launched a consultation on the proposed model tenancy contract. This is intended to be introduced as part of the Renting Homes Bill.

At the same time, we see it necessary for the RLA to undertake its own consultation on the model document; the views of landlords are paramount. We have created a survey that closely resembles that of the Welsh Government’s, so that your responses can be understood in the wider context of the consultation. For this reason, the survey concentrates solely on the areas that the Welsh Government is consulting on: the presentation, format and layout of the document.

We would be pleased if you would take some time to respond to our questions, so we can fully understand and represent your views and opinions in our continuing dialogue with the Government.

  • It would have been really helpful if you had a link to the consultation document before asking us to undertake this survey!!
