The private rented sector is experiencing a period of sustained pressure and scrutiny. Growing demands on landlords requires up-to-the-minute knowledge and best practice awareness. The RLA is pleased to announce one brand new course when choosing letting agents and an update on our foundation course
September will be an exciting month for the RLA and training attendants as it see the unveiling of one brand new course and one course being updated to keep landlords (and letting agents) up with new pressures and expectations.
NEW COURSE: Choosing the right agent – A landlords guide
With increasing complexity and ever changing nature of letting properties within the private rented sector, more and more people are turning to letting agents to handle the more convoluted parts of the process.
Responding to calls from members the RLA has created bespoke training events to help landlords make the right decision when delegating such important responsibilities.
You can learn more about the scheme here which will be held on the following days and locations:
Manchester – Wednesday 11th September 2013: Ramada Inn, Salford Quays Hotel
London – Thursday 19th September 2013: Venue to be confirmed.
Both events will run from 9:30am until 4:30pm.
REVAMP: “The Principles of Lettings…The landlords way”
The RLA flagship ‘Lettings for Landlords’ is being given an overhaul and is being unveiled and refined as ‘The Principles of Lettings…The Landlords Way’. The NEW course will give landlords all the information they will need to know to be part of the PRS and to take full (compliant based!) advantage of the opportunities available.
It also counts towards RLAAS accreditation – subject to completing the course assessment
The course kicks off in Manchester on Tuesday the 24th of September with London and Leeds following in October and November respectively.
